The present project, first, evaluates the quality of video transmission in MPEG4 format in the 802.11 standard through a surveillance camera system under the TCP / IP V4 protocol, using wireless networks applied to monitoring systems for perimeter surveillance Subsequently, an analysis of the video transmission devices and protocols is carried out to select the most appropriate to the needs for the implementation and installation of the video surveillance cameras in the municipality of Yaguará, where the design and implementation of the wireless network taking into account variable antenna positioning, sight lines between video transmitter and receiver, monitoring and recording equipment, power and electrical protection. Finally, the technical aspects that determine the advantages and disadvantages in its implementation are reviewed and the specific results are made known through suggestions and recommendations that the system requires in order to verify the quality of its operation with the required requirements
