The objective of this monograph is to identify the most used software tools in the market for project management and the impact they have at the organizational level. The foregoing, in the absence of an article that can provide information about the impact of software mechanisms in organizations and the materials used in the execution of a project. For this purpose, a meticulous search for articles that provide accurate and timely information on the subject was carried out in the databases provided by the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, and the results of the information collected and previously filtered were reflected in this article. In this way, it was possible to observe that there is a wide selection of software for all the areas that assist each of the phases of the project from the idea to the final closure.
