This syndrome is one of the highest casuistry in the veterinary clinic and mainly in the Hospital Canino y Felinos Velódromo Medellín, specialized in animal critical care. Daily management of the septic patient is a challenge for the veterinary clinician, since it involves various systems of the individual that triggers a system response that progresses rapidly and which requires adequate rapid in-hospital management, the objective of this septic patient management guide is to guide the clinician with the initial and rapid management of the patient, emphasizing diseases such as parvovirus, pyometra and canine peritonitis, Based on studies and guides carried out in human medicine which are extrapolated in the management of veterinary medicine, for them a literary review was carried out based on meta-analysis focused on veterinary management and human medical care guides such as the Survivor Sepsis Campaign (SSC).
