Urban environments nowadays are quite frantic, the acti- vity, congestion, noise, and violence among other unmet needs become agents of stress, depression, which make urban environments a key element to show the importance of the interrelationship of physical space and the conduct and experiences of people. It is therefore necessary for the institution of education, and basically when it comes to higher education; and more specifically the power of psy- chology, to assume a commitment on the need to include in its curriculum the teaching of environmental psycholo- gy, and so contributing to the development of environmen- tal culture.
