National Coldeportes is the organizer of the National Sports Games event, which is a multi-sporting event that is known to be the most respected sporting event in Colombia. The sporting event takes place every four years since 1968 in various cities and departments throughout the country. It is this organization that selects the departments, cities and municipals as hosts for this sporting event. The National Coldeportes along with the hosts and subhosts selected are to make sure the infrastructure and the lodgin of the delegations participants. For the 2015 National Sports Games event the department of Chocó has been selected as one of the hosts. According to research done for this event, Chocó does not have sufficient resources to accommodate sixteen delegations that will participate in this sporting event. Due to this research, a study was done to consider the construction of a sport villa, in which the department of Chocó can be sure to accommodate the delegations participants.
