Mi papi es un guerrero is a creative audiovisual project that, through a touching narrative, aims to represent, by a true event based fictitious short film, the life stories of many Colombian girls and boys who fell victim to recruitment as part of the realities surrounding the armed conflict in this country. This 2D animation project was created using a technique called frame-by-frame vector animation. Mi papi es un guerrero recounts the events of Raúl, a man belonging to the Yanacona indigenous tribe who, at the age of 7, was recruited by a guerrilla group. This story is narrated by his son, Tobías. Throughout this project, you will witness a process that involves research and the development of a story based on three real cases, leading to the creation of a series of audiovisual proposals from different departments that culminate in the completion of the animation.
