The study was developed with professors of Basic Sciences of the Chemical Engineering program at the University of the authors, the training and support strategies were evaluated with the objective of identifying the mobilization of epistemological conceptions towards the achievement of the institutional profile. The information was collected by applying the questionnaires: Teaching Styles, Evaluation of Teaching Methodology and Pedagogical Practices. A non-experimental post facto research design was carried out, in which the following were analyzed: pedagogical model, teaching styles and pedagogical planning. It was concluded that in order to mobilize the conceptions and pedagogical practices of teachers, it is necessary to jointly implement training and pedagogical support that will guarantee the construction, understanding and transfer of knowledge to other scenarios.
