This reflection article aims to expose conceptual aspects of open educational practice (PEA) called "open learning" as a strategy for training in investigative competences in higher education students. Stressing how through the integration of ICT, the traditional educational environments can be transforms, facilitating the exchange of knowledge between actors of educational process, generating spaces for discussion and reflection by creating connections and nodes of specialized information, aimed at the building knowledge collectively, feature main of the connectivism as teaching model directly related to the use of ICT, which promotes peer learning which facilitates the mobilization and democratization of knowledge, characteristics that can be exploited for research practice.
