With the purpose of building a better society based on education and the strengthening and implementation of the music subject, this project proposes a musical teaching strategy for the Educational Institution "Pedro Vicente Abadía". Its academic program the musical area to improve the processes of the learning system. This project had the participation of twenty girls and fifteen children for a total of thirty-five students of the fifth grade of primary education Pedro Vicente Abadía, whose ages range from eight to twelve years, socioeconomic partner (one and two). The type of study was longitudinal and that the information is recognized before and after the musical teaching strategy and comprises a mixture of research that uses the methodology and the qualitative and quantitative instruments in the collection of the information. The execution of the investigation was completed in three phases; A first approach to the squad, the choice and the acceptance; A second application and a third one of data collection and evaluation. The support strategies to obtain the information were: for the teaching - learning findings, P.E.I. And the plans of the institution, for the observation of the behavior of the students within the classes, observation board, interviews (students, teacher group leader and specialist in the cultural area of Guacarí) were made in writing.
