One carries out a qualitative descriptive study, with 11 people with physical-motor belonging to the Handicapped Association Tuluá (ASODISTU) to identify and analyze the various attitudinal barriers, architectural and participation restrictions, which are inherent the injury but may occur with greater frequency and intensity, according to various social, cultural and economic, among others. For this purpose, we applied a set of tools for collecting information, for identifying important data for research, such as self-esteem and self-acceptance of their particular condition and degree of difficulty that are barriers in this people. The result of the investigation according to surveys and detailed interviews revealed that the subject of study population has a good self-esteem and who are in the final stage of mourning, which affirms the reality and accept their disability status to the development coming of mourning. Attitudinal barriers, architectural and participation restriction encounter a degree of difficulty between 25-100% in this population. In this way, it was possible to identify the barriers are not caused by the disability or impairment present but not accessible by the environment, since society is one that may or may not generate the space of inclusion, as well as create barriers or provide access, also collected Information on possible solutions to various problems.
