This research arises due to lack of knowledge about the influence of African culture in the municipality of Tuluá. It aims to develop a series of mainly recreational activities such as riddles, drawing of representative African characters, body movements such as dancing and videos, among others. This methodology is applied to the third grade of School Julia Restrepo, in its subsidiary Maria Luisa Roman. Through conversations about knowledge of the most important contributions of African culture to the municipality of Tuluá, are recognized the historical and ancestral value of the African population highlighting beliefs, myths, legends, songs, music, folklore, and customs; characteristics that identify African ethnicity in Colombia. Thereby is generated a strengthening in the recognition of the African people within an ethnic group. We chose this methodology because it is visually Appealing and this facilitates the student learning, and gives us a permanent assistance thanks to the ludic of their leisure activities.
