This paper is focused on analyzing the details and circumstances that keep or kept indifferent to the students of the educational institution Alfredo Garrido Tovar municipality of Riofrío, Valle del Cauca of the mechanisms of democratic participation within the school, and its school government itself, with all the consequences that this entails in the development and training of a copy, critical and participatory citizen of the major decisions in the country.
