The occupational prospects of the Colombian library sector to 2030 are presented; This is based on observations of the labor market and on the analysis of demographic, economic, educational and technological trends at the national and international level with a horizon to 2030. This prospective-occupational study seeks to identify the impact of these trends on the Manager's occupation Librarian, in order to generate a vision that allows adjusting the training program to the needs that are foreseen for the future and making strategic decisions for its permanent updating.
