The results of a qualitative research carried out in the municipalities of Ebéjico, Sopetrán, San Jerónimo, Liborina, Santa Fe de Antioquia, Giraldo, Buriticá and Heliconia are presented below, in order to identify their academic tastes and preferences. young people, taking into account demographic, social and psychosocial variables. This will allow the different entities and institutions related to the education sector to be able to make adjustments in their institutional projects aiming to meet said demand. The results of the investigation present an x-ray of the reality regarding the academic aspirations of the students of grades 10 and 11 of the nearby West Antioquia.
