This booklet presents small concepts on how to prepare and develop strategic planning for SMEs in the agricultural sector, then reflects the implementation and results obtained in the application of the organizational innovation model in four associations of the coffee and cocoa sector in western Huila, facilitates the development of how to start and maintain a company, the best way to create innovative strategies, both in the creation of new products and the creation of processes to streamline production and optimization of the physical and financial resources of the organization. This primer also presents the comparison of some existing and successful business models of various national and international organizations, which were the complement in the implementation of the organizational innovation model applied in the associations involved in this research project.
