Taking into account that so far no ethnozoological studies have been carried out in the municipality of La Dorada, Caldas, the collective knowledge about butterflies in the inhabitants of this municipality was evaluated; Furthermore, a characterization of this faunal group was carried out in the urban area. The results of these processes are exposed in this booklet, a product with which it is intended to integrate this knowledge into the environmental pedagogical practices of the Livestock and Agribusiness Center as well as other Educational Institutions.
