Security in large cities is an increasingly relevant aspect for its inhabitants; in cities like Bogotá due to the increase in thefts from residences in recent years, among other reasons. According to figures from the National Police, in the complaints of theft from residences, a representative percentage of 61% corresponds to cases in which weapons were not used, these thefts are characterized by the manipulation of the access locks to the houses. Therefore, a proposal is presented for the development of a new product in the company Segurex LATAM SAS, in order to offer consumers a new alternative of tubular lock that helps reduce the probability of theft in their homes and strengthen security perception of Bogotá's inhabitants.
