The technical support center for construction S.A.S "CATAC" It is a company dedicated to providing support to the construction sector, its main purpose is to train and certify operators, training personnel specialized in the construction and operation of heavy machinery, efficient and efficient, in order to make them more proficient in the market of construction, regardless of the level of schooling, in addition to the purpose of providing tools with the aim of having a personal and professional improvement. CATAC offers courses and certifications for the handling of heavy machinery such as backhoe loaders, mini loaders, front loaders, bulldozers, vibro-compactors and hydraulic excavator; however, it does not have a specific procedure that appropriates the maintenance of the mentioned machines, therefore it is observed the need to implement a management system in the maintenance area, which is the pillar of its economic activity, for that reason arises a proposal to implement a system under the creation of a management plan for preventive maintenance, each of the machines to improve the conditions of the company by promoting particular objectives such as continuous improvement is important because if no improvements are made, its competitiveness, representing for the company a potential risk in the development and growth of this. It is significant that companies are looking for the most appropriate methods for their organization to function perfectly and grow in a more appropriate way, in order to achieve quality certifications that make them more competitive and with a higher level of market capture, in many times this is an indispensable requirement to maintain and position itself in the market. The proposal of this work is of great value, maintenance is a specialty that has as a purpose to maintain machines and equipment in optimum state, for the satisfaction of the proper functioning of the assigned tasks. In the maintenance concepts are handled, which will induce good decision-making versus what is presented, facilitates the criteria and ways of doing the proper maintenance. With an appropriate knowledge, it will be possible to visualize through the theoretical and practical scope, what is required by the company. In order to carry out this task, CATAC worked for four months (4) to observe the general functioning of the machines and to show the inadequate management of the maintenance of each equipment. in a voluntary way in the data collection, a diagnosis allowed to visualize the disadvantages, to analyze the primordial needs to present the work proposal allowing to give starting point for the effective development of the process. At the end of the observation phase, different methodologies are developed on the maintenance management previously (preventive) in order to implement models that could be followed in each one of the machines, the administrative ones considered the most appropriate, to accomplish this work in a way Optimal will work hand in hand with the company tutor to find a suitable maintenance system in each of the machines, used in the company. Finally, the project will be presented to the workers directly involved with the process and very possibly to the people who take the training offered by CATAC, carrying out the respective sensitization according to the topics discussed, explaining the proposal clearly and with its respective consequences, associating it with the benefits for the optimal development of their work and the company in general.
