The following thesis titled “Aesthetic education as a pedagogical proposal to strengthen the approach to human rights and protection mechanisms” presents the systematization of a pedagogical proposal which is taken from the experiences of Arts Education that generated aesthetic developments to enable a sensible attitude on Human Rights; it was implemented with children and young people ages 6 to 18 who attend to the Semillito Foundation and José Francisco Socarrás School; this proposal stems from the need to share an aesthetic experience which provides meeting spaces with the other, working directly with Human Rights, where people reflect from the emotion and practice rather than the theory. The methodology of this project was based on the systematization of the implementation of the proposal for educational innovation and action research reflection processes (Lewin, 1946; Kemmis and McTaggart, 1988). taking into account to Ramirez (1991, p. 32-33) who referring to Carlos Crespo methodological design, considers it appropriate for this kind of research.
