In this research, it has been analyzed a musical piece that can bring many of the fundamental technical and interpretive elements for the piano student. The "32 Variations for Piano in C minor (WoO. 80)" (WoO: Works without Opus number. Kinsky/Halm catalogue of 1955) which, besides being composed by one of the most important composers for this instrument (Ludwig van Beethoven), is contained in the theme and variations form. This is precisely to use and develop the technical and interpretive skills of the interpreter. Initially a musical analysis of the piece has been done and the conclusion is to establish the technical and interpretive elements that remain behind the study and interpretation of this work.
