This document expose the main results found in the pedagogical intervention made in the process of formation as teachers of social science. The systematization of the experience searched the interpretation of senses and representations about concepts like territory and violence in the tenth grade students of Jaime Quijano Caballero School. The information collected was organized in the next way, first of all was explored the appropriation of the students about the concept territory, from their human experience of place; this allowed to perceive that the students understand the territory like space of control and dominion, also is artificial, instrumentalized, fragmented and unequal. In second place, the exploration of the urban violence phenomenon, through the problematics of the immediate environment, that gave results about aggression and bullying like mains manifestations of violence also urban problematics like segregation, exclusion and marginality. Finally, the purpose of this work was to show how this intervention contributed to the civic education of the students. This allowed to find weaknesses to read the space and contextualize the problematics of this one, Also the problem to approach the conflicts; for one side the dialogue and recognition of the other and for the other side the annihilation.
