This project was developed in the context of the problem of shortages in Colombia of medicines that are necessary to treat chronic diseases, due to different factors related to the availability of raw materials, problems in the plant, labeling and inefficiencies in the logistics sector. In Colombia, most drugs are of foreign origin, which means that they are subject to a more rigorous process of nationalization, adaptation and logistics, and it is in this part of the supply chain that delays occur. Based on the above, this work is based on a market, technical, process design, environmental impact and administrative study of a product proposal for measuring and standardizing productivity in secondary packaging processes and distribution centers in the pharmaceutical sector to mitigate the problems identified.
