The work focuses on strengthening the knowledge of the diversity of birds present in the ‘vereda Santa Bárbara’, of the Municipality of Junín, and knowing their posible influence on the management of the territory through the ecosystem services that they provide, taking into account that, according to Whelan et al., 2008, birds present four main types of ecosystem services (ES): support, regulation, cultural and provision. Based on the results obtained, a proposal will be made for the integration of the environmental potentialities of the area, as an input to be considered in land use planning.
