This article presents a proposal for the development of a prototype bench for training in dynamic measurement of natural gas volume. A mechanical diaphragm positive displacement meter and an ultrasonic electronic meter are considered as primary elements. The measurement center considers the necessary instrumentation to measure the variables of influence, and a PSoC embedded system to perform the temperature and pressure compensation, in order to obtain the corrected volume under standard conditions. The calculation algorithm is based on the model defined in the PTB test procedure for volumetric gas meters.
