Caracterización del video, como artefacto de conocimiento para el estudio del objeto matemático función lineal por parte de los estudiantes de grado once en el Colegio Gimnasio Los Andes de Bogotá, Colombia.
The present research born by the growing boom that the videos of educational cut have generated is entitled “Characterization of the video, as an artifact of knowledge for the study of the mathematical function linear function by eleventh grade students at the Los Andes Gymnasium School from bogota, Colombia." This seeks to analyze and describe representative videos made by the students of the aforementioned school, where they act as a mediating element of knowledge of the mathematical object linear function from a didactic sequence that promotes the conversion of semiotic representations. In that sense, a theoretical interpretation of mediation is carried out, ideas from Moreno (2001) are discussed where they mention that all activity that has an educational intent will be mediated by artifacts; in turn, the mediation approaches of Cole (1999), Suárez (2017) among others are considered. The document as soon as its methodology is framed in the qualitative paradigm, since it admits to establish relations between concepts and phenomena, study the interaction between the subjects, perform an empirical work with the studied group where its context is taken into account, among other elements. To finalize the results, it is identified that the context of the problem situation that is transmitted through the videos plays a very important role. Finally, it is determined that the characteristics of the artifacts gave way to a mediation of knowledge, since they made it possible to establish procedural and conceptual relationships on the part of the students.
