Nowadays, there are various platforms for the Internet of Things (IoT) dedicated to embedded systems, where a large number of remote operations can be performed on a considerable number of devices. However, in most of these platforms, there is a dependence on limited computing resources either from the servers of these companies or from their own computing resources where these platforms run. With the great advance and acceptance of cloud computing and all the companies that offer these services over the internet, it is becoming increasingly easier to quickly access more computing resources and services on demand that can optimize usage costs thanks to their "pay as you go" model. They can also allow for a flow of data from a large number of devices in services dedicated to Big Data and robust processing on them that can allow for informed decisions about the observed physical phenomenon. In this internship under the direction of Ing. MSc. PhD(c) Cesar Andrey Perdomo Charry, the goal is to implement a project that allows for a general guide on the implementation of an architecture for IoT based on Amazon Web Services cloud services, allowing for continuous connection and interaction from different types of embedded systems platforms such as SoC or SBC-compatible platforms
