Apoyo en el desarrollo de buenas prácticas ambientales en el marco de la implementación del Plan Institucional de Gestión Ambiental (PIGA) en APC COLOMBIA
This report show the main activities made to support the development of Good Environmental Practices during the implementation frame of PIGA’s work in APC’s entity, in which the proposal was divided in five stages, which are: 1) development of Good Environmental Practices on the labor community’s and procedures like environmental culture; 2) Diagnosis for the activities and their impacts, which are all the activities tending to identify the main environmental issues current to prioritize, propose, formulate and execute improvements; 3) Environmental Management Programs, analysis of the aims and their indicators, proposed on the actual PIGA, establishing viability and promoving suitables activities to the environmental education’s principles; 4) Environmental Week, stage focused to handle and lead strategies and activities routed to change the environmental culture, socialize and sensitize; finally 5) database, proposal which searched to stock all the information related with this internship as well as give continuity to processes than were not completed or could be improved. Whitin the main developed activities to this report are: 1) Environmental Diagnosis, based on the Environmental Impacts Matrix, 2) Sensitization and socialization activities of environmental impacts, focused on water resources, energy, solid waste management, sustainable consumption, noise and visual pollution, separation at the source, paper savings and consumption, dangerous residues, among others, 3) Search for environmental education methodologies to formulate different activities and strategies with the purpose of promote environmental culture, 4) Talks, trainings and socializations about care environment and natural resources, current legislation related to compliance with standards, 5) Priorization methodology to evaluate areas and activities according to overriding environmental aspects and their possibility of applying improvement, 6) Matrix of environmental risks, to establishes the associated risks with the main activities and to provides global environmental risk, 7) Comprehensive management plan for hazardous waste (PGIRP for its acronym in Spanish), document and indispensable requirement for the SDA, regulated by the Decree 4741 of 2005, formulated for five (5) dangerous residues identified during the internship, with their respective measures of internal and external management.
