The purpose of this project is to design an improvement proposal for the information management of the Systems Hardware division for Central America, Colombia, and Venezuela cluster, through the use of the 5S lean tool and information management tools. In the first stage, an initial diagnosis was conducted in order to identify the information needs of each of the positions that belong to the division. Based on the information collected, cleaning and standardization protocols were developed for each database, which reduces the amount of information stored in the repositories that do not add value to the operations and processes, as well as reduces the information processing times. In addition, multiple databases were linked in order to increase the value of the information obtained from customers and active deals. To facilitate the interpretation of data, five dynamic dashboards were designed using the software Cognos of IBM Cloud Pak for Data. Each dashboard shows the behavior of key indicators and variables of interest for each focus group.
