Carrying out research projects in the light of social imaginaries around hearing disability, today in the face of the plans and projects advanced in favor of inclusive education, allows us to verify the importance of generating initiatives that make it possible to build participation scenarios for the deaf population In this sense, the need to promote strategies that respond to the reduction of communication barriers is evident, understanding that 90% of the population with hearing disabilities are born in contexts of hearing families who do not master Colombian Sign Language (LSC) , delaying access to a mother tongue, affecting their development processes.
