In the framework of the project "Application of Nuclear Techniques for the improvement of the creole potato crop (Solanum phureja)" of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the reproductive capacity of Solanum phureja mutants is to be evaluated. This internship contributes to the knowledge of the physiological processes, among which are the review of the viability and fertility of pollen together with the dormancy and in vitro germination processes, which determines an important advance in the knowledge about the productivity, sustainability and impact on the environment of the cultivation of these genetically modified organisms.
