The growing academic production of the research groups at Francisco José de Caldas District University and the need to maintain updated and readily available information at all times present a challenge in managing and analyzing such production. In this context, the development of a system is proposed to extract, consolidate, and analyze the academic production of these groups through the GrupLAC platform. The system will employ techniques for reading and dynamically constructing data from web documents to gather the necessary information. Additionally, data cleaning and structuring strategies, supported by both relational and non-relational databases, will be utilized to ensure the quality and availability of the information. With the support of visual data analytics tools, the system will provide reports and statistics that facilitate decision-making and allow for evaluating the progress and achievements of the research groups. In summary, this project aims to improve the management of academic production and provide an effective tool for decision-making at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.
