The objective of this research is to characterize the conceptual and legal referents in the processes of transition to civil life of former members of illegal armed groups who belonged to the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia -AUC and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia People's Army –FARC-EP. This research uses a qualitative type of methodology, belongs to the area of interdisciplinary social research in the line of language, communication and culture.
