The present work was elaborated with the objective of determining the impact of the design of a Production Management System in terms of inventory management and material planning using demand forecasts and aggregate planning in Madear Ltda. During the development of the diagnosis of the current situation of the company, problems such as lack of demand control management, reprocesses, lack of knowledge of purchase dates, lack of inventory management of both finished product and raw material were evidenced.
