This document presents the reader with the tools, skills and competencies that be considered for the correct management of a road infrastructure project, which for the case study is located in the city of Bogotá and whose objective was the improvement or rehabilitation of the local road network. The document presents the evaluation of the compliance of the activities that are part of the areas of knowledge presented by the PMBOK 6th edition and its extension for construction. This evaluation leads to the presentation of different schemes, figures that can help managers to correctly direct their projects according to the guidelines that the PMI teaches us through the PMBOK.
