Colombia is one of the most mega-diverse nations on the planet, due to its privileged location with respect to the equatorial strip, it has a variety of species that make its wealth a natural asset, with the protected areas of our country being the ones that protect most of the Biodiversity, however, is currently being affected by the presence of invasive species, which establish themselves in new geographic spaces, altering ecosystem relationships and displacing native or endemic species. Ignorance of the presence of invasive fauna species prevents carrying out optimal processes of control and management of the same, for this a bibliographic review of the fauna species officially declared as invasive by the Ministry of Environment will be developed, as the prioritized species. By National Natural Parks with invasive potential, in order to develop an informative material, the result of the elaboration of characterization sheets that will allow the understanding of the morphological, ecological, historical and distribution aspects for each one, in addition to the elaboration of maps of presence in the PNN areas and national distribution, with data on the presence of said species in the zones of influence of the protected areas; This will provide the necessary tools to the personnel of the protected areas on the identification of invasive exotic fauna species in the field, in addition to providing the necessary elements for their prevention and control.
