The Educational Innovation Project: School of Democratic Culture, held in the Faculty of Sciences and Education of the District University during the years 2015 and 2016, was an educational commitment to strengthen the critical and reflective perspectives of the university community, The construction of the bases of a democratic culture in the Faculty. In this order, characterization exercises were developed, with the application of investigative tools, the formulation of an innovative curricular structure related to the problems identified, the application of pedagogical strategies and, finally, a process of systematization of the experience, in which The theoretical results are highlighted in relation to the categories of "public sense", "democratic culture" and "individualized subjectivity".
