This project is developed in the company Industrias Alimenticias Valenpa S.A.S. Company dedicated to the manufacture, marketing and distribution of food products, including the production of coffee. For this process, the company does not have control of the environmental impacts generated by polluting atmospheric emissions from fixed sources, according to the legal regulations in force in Colombia. For this reason, it was necessary to define the measures that must be taken to comply with Resolution 909 of 2008. The project defines the stages of environmental policy adjustment, update of factors associated with the emission, presentation of results, proposed environmental control action plan (PACA) and proposed contingency plan. Obtaining as results an evaluation of the objective (within the environmental policy), a process diagram for the coffee roasting activity, the finding of five (5) environmental aspects, the proposal of an action plan for environmental control and the formulation of a contingency plan. Obtaining as a main conclusion that the company in its roasting process generates emissions, but at the same time is committed to caring for the environment, and therefore seeks to preserve natural resources from the implementation of friendly technologies with it and contribute to the prevention, control and minimization of negative environmental impacts generated by its activity through compliance with the standard.
