Metal-mechanic companies underestimate the economic and environmental impact that calamine represents as waste within their processes. The metal-mechanical sector is one of the potential sectors, of greater interest for business economic development and therefore need incentives or alternatives to generate value Added to its processes and thus make the most of by-products and stop considering the calamine as waste. For this reason it is proposed to reuse the calamine as raw material of ceramic tiles.
