Homesickness blue is a creating and interpreting project which outlines the paint as a structure of family memory, particularly, my family, who have been living for decades in a house whose predominant color has been blue. This house is located in the city of Bogota, in the Tunjuelito locality. It was there, inwardly, where it develops the inspiration of the painting. Family members live their everyday events, they express and silence their melancholy and homesickness feelings, which are common in their stories, environment, and cha racters, reflecting the experiences of many Colombian families.
