The perimeter polygon that delimits the Tibaitatá Research Center – AGROSAVIA, located in the municipality of Mosquera - Cundinamarca, which aims to sustainably transform the Colombian agricultural sector, to improve the lives of producers and consumers. Through agreement No. 20 of 2008, it was declared as a "Soil Conservation District (DCS)", as well as research, innovation and transfer activities, must be accompanied by good practices for the management and conservation of the conditions. physical, chemical and biological soil; Therefore, the obligation to formulate the Environmental Management Plan - PMA was established, which must be approved by the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Cundinamarca - CAR. The current PMA was adopted through Agreement 016 of 2011 of the Corporation, where monitoring, prevention and recovery activities for degraded soils were established, to guarantee the conservation and protection of natural resources and agroecosystem services in the DCS for a period of ten (10) years. Given the expiration of the PMA in 2022, the document needs to be updated in its components (diagnosis, organization and strategic), for this reason the formulation of the current PMA and the developments obtained from 5 management measures established in the strategic programs are evaluated, to determining the success and failure factors that influenced the results obtained; This in order to identify strategies that increase the effectiveness of environmental management and establish opportunities for improvement for this first update.
