Diseño de una herramienta virtual de aprendizaje sobre agricultura urbana: una propuesta de educación ambiental vinculada al programa de Servicio Social Ambiental (SSA) del Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis
The Urban Agriculture is an alternative of food production, which allows the use of local resources available in the cities to generate self-consumption products. In the city of Bogotá, the Urban Agriculture project led by the Botanical Garden was launched. during the government of Mayor Luis Eduardo Garzón (2004 - 2008) and continued under the Development Plan "Positive Bogota, to live better", of the mayor Samuel Moreno Rojas (2008 to 2012), with the objective of guaranteeing the right to security food and nutrition. It is considered pertinent to apply a diagnostic instrument to characterize the previous ideas of the students linked to the Environmental Social Service program of the Botanical Garden of Bogotá on Urban Agriculture; taking into account that young people are the future of society and they also depend on continuing the processes of urban agriculture that are taking place in the city, taking into account that the Development Plan, 2016-2020 of Mayor Enrique Peñalosa Londoño, from the axis of environmental sustainability, is committed to the generation of productive alternatives for the achievement of: food security, the promotion of sustainable agriculture and the end of hunger. Likewise, under the current Development Plan, the Botanical Garden leads the Education and Participation Project in a Bogotá for everyone, and in the line of Community Environmental Education proposes to develop environmental education processes with community actors and social service students. Therefore, after the diagnosis, it is intended to develop a virtual educational tool that promotes the practices of Urban Agriculture among the students linked to the SSA.
