Throughout the years there has been a constant growth of trade and industry from new technologies that serve to facilitate and supply the needs of human beings, especially those related to the preservation of life, this is how in the search to treat diseases such as cancer has been implemented the use of radioactive substances in products such as the so-called radiopharmaceuticals or radiotracers (Radiologyinfo.org, 2018), also used in diseases related to the thyroid, and have also been used for medical diagnostics (Radiologyinfo. org, 2018); however, and despite all the benefits it represents as a medical advance, it has environmental repercussions by being in a constant increase, since these elements are highly harmful both for humans (if not supplied in adequate quantities) and for the environment, therefore the management of waste from its application is essential as it is a potential risk for becoming a case of environmental pollution to bodies of water or soil (in the worst case), generating unfavorable environmental results, also recognizing that they are substances that generate resilience because of their low assimilation. For this reason, national and international regulations described in the legal framework of the project have been generated, which limit the conditions of discharges or waste from these processes, bringing as a consequence a greater institutional responsibility for their treatment, and within this same mathematical models have been created to determine the decay of these substances in order to design optimal systems that generate a harmless discharge with low concentrations that allow a better assimilation. To comply with the regulations and using the models indicated, the companies providing health services that implement these treatments, seek the advice of private companies specializing in environmental and health, to help provide solutions, for which the company INGESA CONSULTORIA S.A.S. in its broad portfolio of services offers the work of a group of experts in different areas of need, which allows them to provide comprehensive solutions to the problems they face.
