This project consists of carrying out a diagnosis of the parking areas of Bogotá and the international parking areas, in order to compare these strategies and show the most significant characteristics to later incorporate them into the parking system of the city of Bogotá. A diagnosis of on-street parking implemented in Colombia was made, as well as in international cities that have been using these strategies for more than a decade, evaluating important characteristics such as legal or regulatory mechanisms, payment methods, infrastructure design, and technology. used. Each of these was exposed in a clear and detailed way, taking into account the investigations focused on these systems. Finally, a parking strategy that incorporates smart city features is suggested.
