The following document shows the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the effective public space (EPE), carried out within the urban area of the municipality of Facatativá, Cundinamarca. For this, a unit of analysis was established, consisting of the functional areas of Center and traditional residential fabric, which correspond to the areas that make up the central axis of said municipality. The objective of this work was focused on determining the EPE indicators by inhabitants (m2 / hab), in order to determine the existence of deficits or not with respect to these spaces. The document covers the collection of the inventory of public spaces focused on research, the proposal of a methodology for the determination of zones of influence of each EPE, the calculation of each of the proposed indicators, analysis of information collected through surveys, made to the population, and forms of each of the identified spaces, a series of proposals, guidelines and/or recommendations that facilitate the actions of the local administration and, finally, the conclusions of this project.
