Initially, important aspects about randomness were evidenced, such as decision-making despite the fact that the world can be full of uncertainty, in addition to this the environment in which teachers are immersed because they are spaces full of chance developing more democratic societies. Therefore, the purpose was born to identify the conceptions that students have of randomness and design a resource in order to inform them about all the conceptions of randomness that exist. During the present work there were several alterations since it took place in a year marked by the global pandemic of COVID-19 where education and society experienced changes, including the transformation from face to face to virtuality, specifically in the instrument used for data collection, the modification was made to a format in Google in order to reach elementary and middle school students from a school south of the city of Bogotá in the town of Usme more easily taking into account the framework in which education was developed at that time. After this there will be the construction of the resource carried out taking into account the new normality, for this reason the decision is made to make a video where students can observe the different conceptions and the teacher uses it as an important aid in the development of their lessons. Finally, a detailed analysis will be presented regarding the different conceptions of randomness presented by students located in the sixth, eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh grades of the institution. Said analysis was carried out by means of diagrams and correspondence analysis, which allowed obtaining a clearer vision of what happens in mathematics-statistics education in the capital of Colombia.
