This document begins with the description of the current problems of 3PL logistics operators facing the selection of outsourced carriers, since on many occasions they do not have a matrix or tool that evaluates suppliers and facilitates decision-making based on criteria. related to the quality of service and performance indicators, to achieve optimization and fulfillment of the promise with the client, without affecting the logistics cost; For this reason, a carrier selection tool is developed for 3PL Operators in Bogotá and its surroundings, where the criteria collected from primary and secondary sources are incorporated, implementing the methodology that best suits the requirement.
