Based on the teaching experience and results of the surveys that were made to elementary school students (a sample composed of 12 students from 5 to 12 years of age) and teachers of the artistic area (4 teachers) of Cooperativa Nuevo Muzú School, determined the need to contribute to the improvement of the curriculum of the artistic area for Primary Primary, proposing "a curricular proposal" that contains clarity in contents and activities to guide the teacher and his didactic in Art Education mainly in the pillars of education How are children? Considering the importance of artistic education in elementary school, the proposal is proposed in order to contribute to the awareness of children and appreciation of reality, allowing the development of artistic skills in an individual and collective work to create and build ideas propio.El work is supported theoretically based on the importance of artistic education in the comprehensive education of children, clarity and contextualization of the curriculum in the pedagogy of the arts and thus promote the process of teaching - learning content and artistic practices . This work suggests constantly carrying out a follow-up in the didactic of the artistic education, to contribute in the pertinent development in the abilities, capacities and competitions in different educational activities.
