This document seeks to establish the preliminary guidelines for the creation of a repository in the field of dance, within the Francisco José de Caldas District University. All the information regarding the subject of the repository will be collected, covering several subtopics that talk about, the types of repository, the creation and importance of a metadata system, servers, operating systems, services and legal framework, this in order to understand in general, everything that involves the creation of these means of dissemination and preservation of information. A repository reference model will be made based on the collection of information on the directors who participated in the creation of the scenic product in the Arte Danzario curricular project, as the first phase of the project.
