The chapters and the epilogue present the conceptual and theoretical basis of contemporary dance. Further, the notions of body and training are presented through different points of view of philosophers and artists. Their beginnings, experiences and criterion towards these concepts are presented by the voices of the actors and friends of these two dance groups from Bogotá. Besides that, the point of view of the author/researcher is included. A notion of body is assumed from an inclusive point of view that takes into account bodily valences to identify the human being. The need for training as a space-site that transforms the body that we are, especially, in the field of the dance as an artistic expression and summarized in this paper by the concept of corpopoiesis.
