Reforestación y tenencia colectiva de la tierra: caso de estudio en la comunidad Arhuaca Gunmaku y su estrategia para la recuperación ambiental del territorio.
In this project, an analysis is carried out in two phases about the indigenous territorial management system of the Gunmaku Arhuaco community, which seeks to expand its reservation in order to recover it, care for it and preserve it for future generations, in order to analyze the collective reforestation strategy and changes in vegetation cover in the Tucurinca and Aracataca river basin, a supervised classification algorithm was implemented based on the nearest neighbors and supported by digital image processing techniques, whose average precision was 91 .4% where it was possible to verify the efficiency of indigenous territorial management in the area. In the same way, a legal study was developed supported by field verification, which specifies the typology of ownership of the indigenous occupation properties in the expansion zone of the ahuaco reservation, providing an approach to the reality of the Arhuaco community, From which it was possible to show that when communities have the legal security of collective rights over their lands and forest resources, they are in better conditions to stop the destruction of forests.
